Monthly Webpress
The Webpress package allows the management of the issues of the publication in an archive that allows the online consultancy of each issue of the publication. Each issue of the online publication may contain any number of categories and subcategories of articles. Webpress allows the structuring of articles, depending on the importance, relevance and/or their positioning in the pages of the printed publication, in : background articles, first page articles or internal articles. Webpress allows the update or adding of an issue of the publication, offline, i.e. without the effected modifications affecting the visible content of the website, until the online publication of that issue. For each issue of the online publication there is the possibility to add, by the editor, all the publication in a PDF format, or only the first page of it, depending on the requirements of the editor. Accessing the PDF version is done very easy, through a simple click from the first page of the website. The illustration from each article is very easy to manage placed within the text, through a specialized module. Webpress allows feedback from users, by managing a commentary module for articles. The comments may be added by any visitor on the basis of a valid email address. The comments may be accepted, rejected or blocked by the website administrator, with a spam protection system. Requirements: Webpress may be installed on any computer that runs: a web server, PHP (with the extension GDlib), access to a MySQL server. |
